My review: Anna Casamento Arrigo’s poetry is like a wonderful dream!
It evokes a magical awareness and inspires my own heart to sing out. I’ve put my review in the form of the following poetry! That’s the power of Anna’s book to spark creativity!
Life splattered across the pages
In soft hues and violent reds
A cacophony of silent screams
Shouts of hurt
Moans of desire
And yes! Sighs of satisfaction!
Life racing
In tidbit phrases
Years rushing past
Felt, acknowledged
And encouraged to move on.
To see more
To be more!
Artwork,
Pictures that escaped
the mind’s
Censuring quest to stifle
Colors and form
Rush out of the heart
and play out in whimsy and staccato strokes
on a canvas that the soul can admire.
Anna’s poetry and artwork make the world and living come alive! It inspires us to open ourselves to the creative spirit, and maybe write a review that’s also a poem!
