Description: Another fantastic book by the talented author Martha Perez; Sugar Bear

The Book is Extraordinary! Based on a True Story.

Pet lovers and animal lovers would appreciate Sugar Bear’s journey. It’s sincere, fun, and gives you insight into the friendly mind of a pet. Their mom and dad are their parents and give them lots of love.

Pets like to play and show off for those treats. Sugar Bear was one of the best! He left his paw prints all over our loving home and hearts! As a bonus, there are poems and pictures throughout the book. Losing a pet is not easy; it’s sorrowful, but we have memories to warm our hearts.

Our hearts will be healed with Toby and Bella. Our new puppies are welcome here with many hugs and kisses. They will always have a home and it’s with us. We see the light and joy they keep bringing to us each day. They took away the months of darkness that we thought would never disappear.

We welcome the noise, their playful barks, and have hope that they will give us many more years. We treat them so well and I can see in their eyes that Toby and Bella know how special they are to us. They smell Sugar Bear’s paws and scent with the respect that he was here first.

If you’re a pet lover, this book is for you. I highly recommend buying your copy. Enjoy the read!

Review: A wonderful expression of unconditional love!

From beginning to end, this book portrays the deep and abiding love of the author and a beautiful Shih Tzu named Sugar Bear. For sixteen years their relationship was open, giving and devoid of judgment. It’s the kind of relationship that would change the world in an instant if all of us felt that kind of love for one another.

The story of Sugar Bear and the author, Martha Perez, is a lovely example of how love can affect lives in a most profound and lasting way. When Sugar Bear crosses over to the other side, the grief is definitely deep and painful, but the memories of love continue and are sustaining.

The author and her family decide to get another pet in spite of their grief and end up getting two playful pups, Toby and Bella. They can never replace Sugar Bear, but they bring their own brand of healing love to the family. With love at the forefront of every page, this book is a wonderful reminder of what caring for one another, human or canine, can mean and how it can change one’s life.
