This book was written for an eight year old with the age group of 8 – 11 (keystage 2) firmly in mind. The first feedback came from my own kids who range from 4 years to 14, and the target demographic definitely enjoyed it and got the most from it.
Several paperback copies of the book have found their way into our local junior school where they are much sought after.

Although this book is aimed at a younger audience, I think anyone could enjoy it. I certainly did. I don’t know very much about what London was like two thousand years ago, but the author helped me to revisit it through the eyes of a ten year old boy. The story itself flowed along effortlessly and kept my attention. There was a sense of adventure that I’m sure children would appreciate. All in all, I found the book to be entertaining while it shared information about the sights, sounds and customs of the past. My thanks go out to Mr. Tooley. Beautiful job!
